Tryout Information:

Typically, AA teams do not have tryouts.  Returning players are placed on teams according to requests, new players are placed on teams based on roster and coach availability.

AAA Teams are typically created the previous fall and/or winter.  A few teams, however, are still in need of players.  See below for current tryout information.


***14 AAA Tryout (Coach Yeingst):

14 AAA team in need of players.  Tryout Saturday, February 3rd, 11:00 am at Newton Middle School.  Contact Coach Yeingst if interested myeingst@dentallifeline.org.


***12 AAA Players Needed (Coach Mayoral):

12 AAA team looking for experienced 12 year old players.  In addition to the regular season we will participate in several tournaments throughout the spring, including a trip to Cooperstown.  Contact Coach Mayoral if interested: (303) 619-3394.


***14's AAA Tryout (Coach Thomas):

14 AAA team looking for an experienced Pitcher/Outfielder.  In addition to the regular season we will participate in five tournaments throughout the Spring.  We are looking for ballplayers who work hard and have a genuine love for the game of baseball. 

Indoor tryouts will be held on two dates:
Tuesday January 30th from 8:00 - 9:00pm 
Tuesday February 6th from 8:00 - 9:00pm

***Hattenbach 11's AAA Tryout - Harlow Park South in Littleton***

We would like to invite your son to participate in a tryout for a 11-year-old AAA level baseball team through Littleton Thunder which participates in Arapahoe Youth League (AYL) for the spring of 2018.  The age level for this team is for boys who will be eligible to compete at the 11 year old level during the 2018 season.  The coaches are Todd Hattenbach and George Culpepper.  We anticipate carrying 10-12 boys on the team.

The tryout will be held on Saturday January 27th from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Harlow Park (South Field, #2) in Littleton located at 5151 S. Lowell Blvd. The tryout will consist of the following skill evaluations:

  • Throwing & Catching (Arm strength and accuracy)
  • Pitching
  • Hitting
  • Sprints
  • Base Running
  • Fielding (Infield & Outfield) (ground balls and fly balls)

Boys are expected to bring their bat, glove, batting helmet, cleats, and hat.  The boys are also to wear baseball pants or  sweat pants.  Please also have them bring a water bottle.  We will have water jugs available to refill them.
